Het Finse Apocalyptica startte als een aparte coverband. Met hun strijkinstrumenten coverden ze songs van onder andere Sepultura. Tijdens dit gesprek hebben ze het over de geheime kwaliteiten van metal:

"Our parents were not too happy when we were kids and playing Sepultura out loud. Then when we took the drums and the vocals off and they just heard the melodies and the vocals, they were like: 'Wow, this is very good music!' We have been able to show people that heavy metal is not just noise. There is a big strong energy and feeling behind it."
