Kelis interviewden wij in 2001 toen ze op tournee was met U2. Ze sprak met ons over haar nieuwste album "Wanderland", de muziekbizz en over de plek waar ze vandaan komt; Harlem:

"I think it's considered tough because there's a lot of black people there and that's the stereotype. It's no worse than any place else. It's a neighborhood, which is why I still live there."
